Big 12 Volleyball Player of the Week - Oct. 9 Oct. 9, 2006 IRVING--Jordan Larson (Nebraska) was tabbed Big 12 Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the matches of Oct. 2-8, the league office announced. It is the second weekly conference accolade of Larson's career. She also earned the award on Oct. 17 last season. Jordan Larson, Nebraska, OH, So., 6-2, Hooper, Neb./Logan View Larson led the Huskers to sweeps over Kansas State and Texas A&M to extend Nebraska's unbeaten streak to 15 matches overall and seven in Big 12 play. Against KSU, Larson recorded a career-high 20 kills on .400 hitting along with 10 digs and two blocks. Larson followed that performance with an 11-kill, 15-dig outing at Texas A&M. She posted a .357 hitting percentage for the match while contributing five kills in the final game. On the week, Larson averaged 5.83 points, 5.17 kills and 4.17 digs. Larson also tallied her 10th and 11th double-doubles of the season.
