Game three saw UCSB once again jump out to an early lead, but Pepperdine chipped away and tied things up at 9-9. The frame remained tight until, with the score tied at 14-14, the Gauchos went on a 6-0 run fueled by three kills from Quirarte to gain the advantage. Santa Barbara held on and came away with the set at 30-19 to earn the 3-0 sweep.
