OSU recruited a girl from Texas by the name of Heather Royal. I don't see her listed on their roster at all. Did she leave OSU? Is she injured? If she left, does anyone know why?

What an odd roster shot! She might have left school to be in the film version of Dallas.

From what I heard, she was a spoiled rich kid who couldn't handle the intense preseason practice required of her, so she skedaddled.
Good, if you ask me. She would have worn the halloweed Number Ten, which needs to be retired!

Right. Like the sport is full of kids who come from families so poor they have to bang two rocks together for entertainment.

Two things I think we can conclude about OSU:
1) It takes a certain type of kid to play there 2) Stone finds a way to fill his roster, year after year
Knock on wood, but it looks as if they've moved away from the injuries which plagued them for several seasons, when a lack of depth made it very difficult for the program.
Even so, they've only had that one awful season -- Gordon's junior year. So we should also conclude that Stone can coach...

He may be able to coach but sometimes his training methods are very suspect.

I'm sure that the college experience is quite a shock for many incoming freshman, athletes and non-athletes alike. Especially for those going to school so far from home. Not everyone can do it.
There was a MN player who received a full-ride to a bigger program but left after the first year and went to a much smaller program because it was a better fit for her.
Hopefully, if she still enjoys the game, she will find a school and program that is a better fit for her.

You're and idiot... completely uncalled for.[/quote] "You're and idiot." <-- Well, you managed to get one out of three words correct. You hit 33%! I think the only idiot you see is in a mirror. First of all, it WAS called for, because someone asked. Second, "From what I heard..." is only speculation, but the source (outside the program, btw) said that directly to me. And lastly, if you're going to call people names, at least spell like you completed elementary school, you Tool.

From what i remember all the Ohio State roster shots are kindof "odd." And yes, it's weird that I've looked at the ohio state roster before and know this... uh.... yeah...

What percentage of players leave Big Ten programs? Is it normal to have one or two players leave each year?
