What would happen to the rankings if BYU loses to USCD tomorrow, LBSU loses again, UCLA loses to Pepperdine, and Pacific beats CSUN? Would Pepperdine catapult to #1?

I was wondering the same thing myself...but concentrating on Long Beach and Hawaii. If Hawaii should sweep the series from the Beach, does that move Hawaii to #2. Will the coaches drop long beach behind Hawaii?

I guess we do not have to worry about that since CSUN beat Pacific in 3, UCLA over Waves in 3 and BYU over UCSD in 3 also. It better not be Beach over UH in 3.

UCLA could move to #2 after this weekend after beating Pepperdine at home and LBSU dropping one(maybe 2). UH beating LBSU should move them up in the polls but w/ everyone else winning, it is not a guarantee. Two 5 gamers for LBSU even at UH might sway the AVCA voters a bit. Especially if they don't get at least a split. UH should at least pass Pepperdine into the #5 spot. LBSU will probably move up in the Volleyballmag poll after losing, they worship the Beach.

Pepperdine is currently in the #4 spot and CSUN dropped last week to #5 after losing to Pepperdine.
Who knows how the coaches will vote this week. I would say BYU will probably stay #1 and that is the only guarantee.

I predict that the 4th seed will go to Pepperdine, and the 5th will go to CSN. . Well, all I know is that UH will NOT get anything in the postseason. Doubt they'll even come close to an NCAA berth this year.
