Its good to see Carlini will be back in there making an impact. She definately did against the gophers. It'll be hard for her to get back to 100% during the season though.

What can we expect from Penn State - a 5-1 or a 6-2 offense?

Badgers would be better off if they save their fire for Sunday

Oh ye of little faith. I know you remember 1997. This Badger team might not be as good as that one, but I don't think the Lions are quite as good as they were then either. In sports, the team with the most talent usually wins, but not always.

The game will be competitive as long as UW can keep up with PSU pace. If they (Badgers) get a few points behind, PW will start subbing everybody/everywhere and it will become turmoil (for UW, of course)...seen that quite a few times.

I agree with that. I really hope the Badgers can begin and end the match with the same lineup. I think that maybe trying one particluar substitution for a potentially better matchup might be a good idea if things aren't going well, though.

Wouldn't his constant subbing make his players nervous? They must always be thinking that if they make a couple of mistakes he will yank them. It would make me play tight and try too hard.

Pete hasn't subbed nearly as much as he did last year, and frankly, as far as subbing players go, Shondell at Purdue is the sub king. He rotates them in and out of there so fast some times it seems some players never even get a chance to touch the ball.

And they are never ready to come in. You'd think that as much as Shondell subs his players would know to be ready.
