I need an answer from someone who knows--Our high school team has a setter who agreed to play at a D1 school--her first year she is a walk-on and the coach said we will try to get her three years on scholly. Does a walk-on still sign the NLI?

Does a walk-on still sign the NLI? The NLI must include a written offer of athletics financial aid for the initial season.
