Are the Buckeyes getting a player who could be a full time libero for them? I think Stevens is best as a hitter playing all around; they really need someone to come in and solidify the libero position. It reminds me of how the position rotated at Wisconsin until Wack arrived; if they could get a player like her, the Buckeyes could be really good next year. I thought they were considering starting Lindsay Schad, a frosh, at L. She seemed to show a spark against those Division Four preseason foes.

I saw Katie Dull play in the semifinals of the state tournament. She has excellent athletic ability including a very good vertical. However, she's certainly not the best high school player that I've ever seen, even in Ohio. Just off the top of my head, I'd take Stephanie Blackburn (now at Ohio U.) and former Stow High School (and one-year Buckeye) setter Carrie Cavanaugh over her, among others.
Katie also displayed some attitude issues on the court in the match that I saw. Hopefully those will be ironed out in Columbus.
