Oh, and is was fun cheering insted of writing.

Of course Kathy reads VolleyTalk, you have to read to post, don't you TSB? Heheh.... History lesson, back in the early beginnings of this forum, I was convinced that TSB _was_ indeed Kathy Gregory.

Several times in the last couple years I've seen coaches' or players' comments in press releases about stuff like "A lot of the fans have been saying x y z.....", and I swear I know exactly which VolleyTalk thread they were reading.

I definitely have talked to mens' players who have seen me reading it and commented on the fact that they have at one time or another been members.

I won't mention names, but I've actually received email messages from college coaches related to what was posted on VT. I met a participant from the PrepVB board once. That person thought "bearclause" was Lee Maes.

Moderator Note:
Volley Talk has become an excellent source of volleyball news on the Web over the years. Many volleyball people check-in to read the forum. A smaller number contribute to the forum.
Since the beginning of the volleyball season, more than 25,000 users have visited this forum. At this posting, there were nearly 3,000 users registered. Of those, about 200-300 people are active contributors to this forum.
Contributors, without you, there would be no audience, so thank yourselves for the success of this forum and for the attention it may be drawing from the volleyball community, but lets be sure to NOT "out" VT other contributors.
Remarks about "lurkers" who do or do not read the forum are not a big concern of mine, but attempts contributors to volleyball people at Volley Talk will not be allowed on this forum.
Thank you for understanding. Odin

To keep within the rules set by our gracious moderator, this is probably a good time for me to re-iterate for the record that I am not Cynthia Barboza's ACL surgeon.

We've had a discussion similar to this a few times. Some of the people in the volleyball community who actually post are easy to spot while others aren't. And yes, some interviews do reference volleytalk discussion threads which I think is pretty cool.

All I know is that loss to Wisconsin really bugged Salima and me.

The resemblence between Russ and (R)ufdda! is uncanny though. Russ | (R)uffda! | | | Distinguished coaching record. | Extinguished coaching record. | Tells funny jokes. | Tells funny jokes. |

Shut up, Gorf. And nice job turning the Buckeyes around, by the way.

I've met Kathy and I've met TSB. I'm pretty sure they're not the same person. Though, admittedly I've never never seen the two of them together.
