It's amazing how this kid wasn't starting since the start of the season, that boy can play. I mean how much better can pedro and Jose really be for them to start over him? And with the three of them being sophmores and Delano Thomas being a junior, who's gonna be the odd man out for next year? My guess would be Jose, or they may move Delano back to middle taking over Stanhiser's spot thus placing Jose back to OH. Does anyone have any inside info on why the three of them were suspended in the first place?

They were suspended because of a team rule violation. No one has yet to expand our knowledge with the particulars.

I found out the details of the four player's suspensions, and I have to admit, I am astonished at the punishment for the infraction (but I did only hear one side).
I don't think it is my place to expand any more on the details, though.

congrats to matt on his honor. it is surprising that he didn't get AVCA, but sometimes it doesn't match up with the other conferences. on the news he seemed so surprised that he even got it.

I would also like to congratulate Matt Bender for getting this honor because he truly earned it with his play. I seriously don't know how he hasn't been starting either, because correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he has led the Warriors in kills every night that he has started.
Matt Bender is an excellent player and I hope he gets recognized at the end of the season with either conference honors or all-American honors because no team has been able to stop him thus far.
Matt I would have to say is the Warriors best all-around player because there's no other player on the team that plays defense and is willing to give up there body to save balls like Matt Bender and has been putting the balls away like him. His blocking also has been awesome. He has been holding back on his serve a bit, I think it's because his added amount of swings. But there is no doubt that Matt Bender is a big time DI college volleyball player.
Congrats to Matt Bender.
