They should have someone who actually plays right a journal. Hey ian, Stuff it, bro. They need someone who can write. Not like you who can't even spell "write" correctly. It's "write" not "right" you dodohead. Besides, I would rather read something written by a mental case like Nordberg than someone who was sane. It's a lot more livelier.

"A lot more livelier". Don't be so concerned with my spelling when your grammar stinks. Try "a lot livelier". Anyhow, I agree. Mental cases write better stories.

Well, for those of you who don't want to hear more from Nordberg, DON'T READ ON. If you do have a sense of humor and want to hear about how the men's team is enjoying their trip abroad, here's the lastest entry from the UH athletics website.
Warriors Enjoy First Few Days Shanghai Nordberg Notes Second Entry
SHANGHAI, China - Well, it has been about three days since we have arrived in Shanghai. We'll talk volley first. As suspected, the Shanghai team has some tall boys. I think starting players are probably all around 6'6" to 6'8". They typically have 5 national team members with their club, although three are currently in Beijing. We squared off against the club on Monday in the city. The gym was a little run down. It is safe to say we are all spoiled with the Stan Sheriff Center. The temperature in the gym was at a chilling 58 degrees. The phrase "warm-up" took on a whole new meaning.
The beginning of the first game started well, as any signs of nervousness seemed to be non-existent. We were playing international rules so the game would be ending at 25, not 30. With rally scoring to 25, simple errors are magnified that much more. With our errors increasing and theirs decreasing, we suddenly found our selves down in the match with a score of 16-25. With a combination of poor passing, service errors, other unforced errors, and possible jet lagged effects, the match was over with scores in game 2 and 3, respectively, at 21-25, and 19-25. The attendance was probably around 400 and mostly quiet while bundled up in their winter coats, gloves, and hats. On Tuesday, we scrimmaged the club in a less formal atmosphere and played significantly better. Although we lost 1-2, the scores were a lot closer and the stage had been set for tonight's second match.
The majority of us have been lucky in terms of being sick. The only one has been Jose, who must of swallowed some water while brushing his teeth. We did not see much of him on Monday, as the majority of his time was spent in his bed or near the toilet. The food is good but different. Honestly, I prefer the "real" Chinese food in the states at Panda Express!
The facilities here are amazing. We are probably an hour away from the city at an Olympic training facility. They have over 12 complexes for each of their respective sports. This includes separate facilities for men's and women's volleyball, each with their own teraflex! We are staying at a supposed four star hotel on site.
We went into the city of Shanghai for the first time on Monday. Our trip to the city exceeded all expectations. The city appears to be bigger than any U.S. city I have ever seen. And the lights, it reminds we of a cross between Vegas and Christmas time. We are definitley oddities, as everyone stares at us while whispering amazements to their friends.
We are gearing up for this afternoons match in Shanghai. We are playing at a different site, so hopefully the temperature will actually be in the 60's. I am predicting that we will win the match in 5. After, we have some time put away for the city. Hopefully we can get some deals on Rolexes and DVD's. The going rates seem to be $20 for the watches and $3 for the DVD's!

True. He's not a mental case but his first entry was much better than his second entry. I liked the line about the "real" Chinese food at Panda Express. That made me smile.

yeah, Brian is pretty out there most of the time. I meant to ask how does johnny know that "if u ask any of the guys hes ever played with ucsb or hawaii theyll tell hes a weirdo with some serious mental issues." Crazy and serious mental issues weirdo are two different things. I don't think you should insult the guy just cause he's unique.
