Are there rules for NIRSA club teams in regards to how many former NCAA players can be on a club team at one time.
Is there a link that someone can provide that outlines NIRSA rules for participation.

Are there rules for NIRSA club teams in regards to how many former NCAA players can be on a club team at one time. Is there a link that someone can provide that outlines NIRSA rules for participation. I believe it is two, and they have six years of eligibility from the first season they are on a NCAA roster. I am pretty sure it is all outlined THUROUGHLY in the packet that each team must fill out in order to participate. For a period of time they were experimenting with different divisions in order to try and allot for more former D1 players (an "open" division ....) It didn't work so well with the women, and the men didn't get much response to it either (i think only 12 teams participated in the open division, the majority stayed in division 1). If you go on the NIRSA website, it shouldnt be that hard to find . . somewhere in the participation packets or something. We tried to change that rule when I was there . . . I think we were only successful at starting arguements.
