These are for you simplycurious. I only put up pics of schools who don't really have any fans on this board to post.
I couldn't get a good picture of the LAwlor Events Center's Sport Court, or the Coors Center Sport Court.
...OH well.

I think this facility has Idaho beat for best stage in a gymnatorium.

I think this facility has Idaho beat for best stage in a gymnatorium. The upper official should be on the other side of the court where he isn't blocking anyone's view.

Most volleyball courts look good in photos. Take, for example, the Leavey Center at Santa Clara. Pretty, right? Yes. But in person, when you're actually there, it's not that nice. Sure, seats are okay but I never felt good about the place.

Maybe the negative waves from the pedophilia scandal at Santa clara and the Catholic Church are rocking your Karmic Center with an excess of bad vibes.

I almost forgot, the thing I hate more than taped lines on a basketball court. Raised courts. Not continuing the same level out to the point where no one will hurt an ankle is just dangerous. I remember when Florida played Penn State at American University back in 2002, Lauren Moscovic sprained her ankle because of the raised court. Invest a little more money to make the entire volleyball playing area the same level.

The upper official should be on the other side of the court where he isn't blocking anyone's view. It looks like they've conciously made a decision to place the team benches across the court from the spectator seating. The up ref must be stationed across from the bench. If you like stages - how about Crawford Court at UC Irvine? The stage is right behind the scorers' table.

Crawford Hall ....I forgot about that place....it borders on a high school gym.....but still better than the North Gym at USC.

I have been to many HS gyms nicer than Crawford Hall.... When I went there in 2003, they'd just installed brand new stadium-style seating opposite the stage. It wasn't that bad except for the heat. I don't know if they didn't have A/C or it just wasn't working, but it was hot there Labor Day Weekend 2003.
