...on tape delay, of course.
PARK RIDGE, Ill. - The Wisconsin at Purdue volleyball match to be played on Saturday, Nov. 25, will be televised by Comcast SportsNet Chicago as the wildcard selection, it was announced by conference officials today. The match will be the 14th and final regular season televised Big Ten volleyball match of the season.
The 10th-ranked Badgers currently sit alone in third place in the conference standings at 21-6 overall and 13-4 in Big Ten play. Purdue, ranked 23rd in the latest CSTV/AVCA Coaches Top 25 Poll, is tied for Ohio State for fourth place at 9-7 in conference play and 19-8 overall. Earlier this season, the Boilermakers achieved their highest national ranking in school history when they listed ninth over a two-week span in October.
Purdue is also 13th in the nation in attendance figures as the Boilermakers have hosted just under an average of 2,000 patrons this season. In the newly-remodeled Intercollegiate Athletic Facility, Purdue has captured 10 wins in 13 matches this year.
First serve of the Nov. 25th match is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The match will air on a tape-delay basis on Sunday, Nov. 26 at Noon CT.

Since I have Charter cable, I guess I'll be seeing that channel on it around the first of never. I just hope the Big Ten Network gets on my cable next year and makes it through volleyball season before folding. That would be nice.

There is an article in today's Mpls paper about how 6 of the 14 Gopher men's basketball non-conference games will not be shown and 5 conference games will be shown on tape delay due to scheduling conflicts with pro sports.
Boo-friggin'-hoo.
Try being a volleyball fan and getting to watch your team (which at MN is much more successful than the men's b-ball team) live on TV anytime.
And there is no mention about women's b-ball not being televised, either.

In the article I referenced above it also states that, at this time, only Direct TV is signed up to carry the Big Ten network. The big cable companies such as Comcast are not signed up and don't show any indication of doing so.

However, the MVC championship match should be broadcast live that Sat night. I'm guessing on FoxSports Midwest
