After watching the Hawaii State Championship, I couldn't help but notice #12 for Pearl City. Right side hitter and a nice lefty too. He was putting his shots down and also blocking the opponent's LS (Both Iolani and Kamehameha) pretty much with ease. He moved here from California and started playing for PC I think his Jr. year (he's a Sr. this year). He said he wants to stay in Hawaii and learn about his Hawaiian roots. Hawaii could use a nice RS.
By the way, his name is Jonathon Charette. 6'3" lefty with nice hops.

Just thought I'd add that he was the main factor of knocking off Iolani in playing for the State's Championship match with Kamehameha. He had 23 kills against them (Iolani). I think he had 10 or more kills against Kamehameha, they couldn't stop him either.

Yes, Charette, is awesome. Reminds me of Tony Ching, undersized, but a leaper. Nice jump serve and a powerful hitter with a vertical around 40 inches.
He would be a great addition to the Warrior team and could help fill the void after losing Costas, Eyal, and Tony. I wouldn't mind having Azenha, Motter, and Charette as out replacements.
Hopefully, Wilton has been keeping an eye over the local players, there are some pretty good ones here.

He kind of does remind me of Ching too, but, not as much as he reminds me of Delgado. At least to me.
