Just watched the broadcast of the season opening game between Bergamo and Ogonna's team, Piacenza.
Unfortunately, Bergamo was just too strong and won 3-1.
Ogonna had some hits, but they did not hit the floor as she probably expected it would and instead was mostly dug or blocked. Noticed as well that she was playing back row and Bergamo did try to serve her, but I do believe one of her team mates was covering, just in case. Auspicious start for her and her team.

I'm sure that this winter, sisam will report to us on Stacey Gordon back in Turkey.
Something tells me the news will be better. ;D

Auspicious start for her and her team. statistically, Ogonna with 13 service receptions, 69% positive 38% perf. third most on the team. it does look like she is in the passing rotation with their libero and the other OH Daniela Ginanneschi (Slovenia). European Champions League is about to get underway too. Bergamo's first match is on the 29th.

Right. Whichever pro team Gordon touches seems to win. How's that work now? ;D I'll take "Gordon plays on a better team that competes in a worse league" for $1000 . ;D ;D
