Chris Tamas at Pacific is a senior, so he will be leaving after this season. The Tigers have a freshman who is about 6'2" from I think Valencia who isn't bad, but quite a bit shorter and less physical than the 6'6" Tamas who just might be the best setter in the nation this season.

well, loyola has ryan martin, a 6-3 freshman this year, and lewis has a 6-4 lefty freshman brandon sisk as their back-up setter this year. Sisk is the best setter out of the midwest this year, and he has a chance to make an impact with lewis, maybe not this year, but by his junior year he'll be an impact player for them.

Miles is gone next year and that leaves JT, and that is it!

IPFW has Dennis Santiago, freshman of the year in MIVA. Should be around for 3 more years, although 2 yrs is a possibility.

Okay, is there an image there in the original poster's post? All I see is a white box.

LBSU has two excellent freshman setters this year. Beau Peters and Tyler Hildebrand.
The Croation setter for Rutgers is Alex and his family moved to Orlando, FL during the conflict over there. He was in high school at the time. He has great hands, plays smart, and is the nicest young man you could ever hope to know.

I heard that in the EIVA finals last year, Alex Ondelj and Quinones were rediculous, back and forth with these wild but perfect sets, faking their own players out. Alex was also the only comp for all american freshman of the year. I heard he isn't playing in the preseason though, is this true? Rutgers will be good as long as he is setting.
