I seriously don't think that the tickets for the national championship match is only $3. For tickets for the final four it usually is more expensive then regular season games. And if you are just going to Saturday's match you will probably have to wait till Thursday (the day of the final four) to purchase that ticket. Because they usually sell it as a package deal if you want to buy tickets in advance, which means you have to buy for both nights. If you don't want to buy for both nights you usually have to wait till the night of the first match before you can buy single match tickets. And like I said earlier, I highly doubt that the ticket will only be $3.

Nice! $3 for students! $13 for adults seems steep though. UH ticket prices could use a little adjustment, in my opinion. Unfortunately, the name of the game for volleyball is profit at UH, and they have a pretty good formula working now (it costs more to bring in more people to the arenas). I haven't seen much advertised about having the Final Four here in Hawaii... I wonder how many will actually be attending. My guess is about 3000 per match. If UH makes it, though: 8000 per match.

the marketing for the final four @ uh has not been very good @ all. there have been no newspaper ads or commercials on TV. there are posters announcing it @ the ticket office, but that's about all. on why they're charging only $3 for students--i believe they're trying to get more of the younger crowd, especially UH students, to support the tournament.

Anyways, I think it should be PSU out of EIVA, IPFW out of MIVA and BYU out of MPSF. The at-large.....UCLA or Pepperdine maybe?

I think it will be Rutgers out of the EIVA (Rutgers has beat Penn 4-1 late this season)
BYU will come out of MPSF if they can get passed Pepprdine. but Long Beach will get the at large if they make it to the conference finals.
I think the MIVA is going to be VERY interesting. Ohio St. / Loyola could do it but watch Lewis to see if they can handle IPFW.

My preseason pick from the East was Rutgers. They'll be Honolulu in May. Bookum is a big time Rutgers supporter. I've been to several football and volleyball games the past four years. How ya doin. Bookumdanoaloha
