Other than Joel McCartney leaving Winthrop for Georgia, you have Sherry Dunbar leaving College of Charleston to go to Indiana.
No word on Ball State, Kent State, New Mexico, College of Charleston, Winthrop or UNC-Charlotte.
I believe Charlotte was going to focus on volleyball as soon as they finished hiring their men's soccer coach (which got announced yesterday).
A number of jobs are interviewing and have a number of good candidates looking for the job. Charleston will have a number of people applying as will Ball State and New Mexico.
Winthrop apparently has focused on one person from the southeast. I would expect to see Charlotte done before the end of January, with Charleston close behind. Ball State may be caught up in litigation (rumor) and this may hold things up a bit.
I believe Georgia is in the process of filling their 1st assistant position.

Anyone have any clue to candidates or interest in the New Mexico opening? I just spoke to one of the players last night and she hasn't heard anything. They have winter workouts coming up in a week or so.

They have essentially hired a "qualified" head hunter to fill the position. I expect to see that position to move quickly in January.

That headhunter is definately "qualified". He was pulling over and interviewing candidates so much in omaha I thought he was giving out free stuff over there!
