Logan doesn't let balls drop right in front of her unlike one other NT member. Did you see the reaction on Danielle Scott's face when this certain player let the ball drop? Scott put her hands on top of her head and shook her head in disbelief!

I don't give a crap if they are the Queen of England. The best player deserves to be on the court and can they play as a team. I didn't realize that success in previous years would mean a free ticket for life. If I do need any information about the Logan Tom fan club Iwill contact you doc. Did you see Danielle Scott, Tayyiba Haneef, or Heather Bown at these tryouts?

No I didn't. Haven't they however been with the team on a more consistent basis? I beleive so. I know its must frustrate you ( being Logans biggest fan and all ) , that the poor thing has to go through the humiliation that every other athlete has too. Its not fair is it?

Tom wouldn't have to go tryout. The team from time to time invites players who were with the team in the past to come back, and people like Scott, Haneef and Bown her are all starters on the current team don't have to tryout, thats just stupid. The recent tryouts were for players with collegiate eligibility remaining. I don't think Keba Phipps had to tryout when she came back in 2001. Hey maybe Tom is gonna do one of those numbers and comeback in like 2012. That would be funny!

You guys are....ugg. Lang Ping will start the best players she can get. If she can get Tom, she'll get Tom. Wrigley (and other anonymous aliases) who exactly do you think is out there that can pass and terminate at the international level like Logan Tom? And remember, I don't consider Logan one of the top players in the world, but I consider her a solid veteran. Most of these girls that try out for the NT would be humiliated if they were to start on the NT. They would shank every other ball and would be roofed nonstop.

The tryout for those types of players will consist of Lang Ping picking up the phone and calling one of the, what, five thousand or so volleyball contact points she has all over the globe from being at the top of the international game for a couple decades? Maybe a recent highlight video just for fun, but come on, everyone (including the coaching staff) already knows who the top players are. Every hour the USA NT program wastes on formal tryout procedures for known stars is another hour they could have spent finding an american husband for Sarah Pavan. And they better hurry the @#$ up, because she's a senior now.

According to the official club website, Logan Tom quits Tenerife due to personal and health problems. The release says they tried to talk her into finishing the season but were not successful.

Let's see, she started pro career in Brazil, so that would be Portuguese, then Italy, then Switzerland, and until recently, Spain. I wonder where she'll end up next, what with her quitting Tenerife. Hope she takes care of those personal and health problems toot sweet!

Hope she takes care of those personal and health problems toot sweet! I suspect that Logan has major issues......I also suspect that unless she is willing to play under JLP's rules and within her limits, that she will NOT be a member of our national team, no matter how good she is, and we all know that LT is a great player......however the last time I checked indoor volleyball was a TEAM SPORT, and frankly LT is still looking for the ME in TEAM! And hey LT, IT AIN'T THERE!
