Logan Tom was spotted practicing at Hermosa Beach over the weekend. I thought she was reported injured according to her club team in spain. I think she was working out with a coach from brazil. Any pics ??

The phrasing wasn't "injured", it was "health reasons". Makes sense to me - retiring from my current job to hang out at Cali beaches playing volleyball all day would do wonders for my mental health.

I read this as "Logan Tom in Halfback", which made no sense to me.

Good thing pro volleyball is still pretty much small potatoes in the USA and beach pros can usually go about their business unimpeded. If it ever goes big-time and volleyball pros get to be big time, will we see private training facilities and such? No more calling ups against the pros at Will Rodgers or Marine Street, the papparazzi and the stalkers would be all over the place.

Don't be buying this excuse crap for one minute.....she has endorsements, you know $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, that she was going to lose out on if she wasn't back in So. Cal by April 1st....check it out, IT'S A FACT JACK!!! No loyalty on her end, except to the pocket book, which is another reason why none of you who keep harping on her being back on our National Team, are likely to see that scenario develop!!!!!!

I, too, generally stop following a player's career once their collegiate days are over. Time to move on. And it's not like I REALLY cared about 99.99% of all players' respective careers during college to begin with.

Loyalty? Now you sound like my grandmother. She used to always preach that we shouldn't go from job to job because we wouldn't be building up our pension. She lived in a day when there was loyalty between employer and employee. Today, there is no loyalty. Business is Business and it is driven by money. We shouldn't hold Logan to any sort of false idea of "loyalty" ... and neither should you. I'm with her ... pad your pocket book, girl!! Do what makes you happy!
