Trouble flared at around 9.30pm outside the stadium when 70 fans started throwing rocks and pieces of wood at opposition supporters. It is not yet clear who started the incident. The 45-year-old policeman required nine stitches to his injuries when he was taken to Limassol General Hospital. Four youths aged 16, 18, 21 and 23 have been arrested and remanded in custody for three days, with the police studying CCTV footage in an effort to identify more of the culprits.
