Dude, stop being such a hometown homer. Yeah, I know she's going to Stanford. Yeah, I know you're a big Stanford fan. But come on, she does not hit the ball hard. Have you actually seen her play? Yes.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.....she hits the ball hard. So can I and I don't play. Listen, buddy. The rest of us on the board don't really care about what you do you the shower every morning. We were discussing hitting a volleyball.... At the collegiate level, you have to be able to put enough pop on the ball that you're not getting constantly dug.

Hey Sky baby, if you were talking volleyball is one thing, discussing it is another. From my point of view hitting the ball hard does not mean much if you don't find the right hole to hit thru (block hole, seam or away). There have been many players that hit the ball hard, but due to there lack of "shots" over, thru and around the block turned them into avg attackers at best. Now that is discussing volleyball. Talking leave to those that watch ESPN.....wich seems you do. ESTRELLA

Klineman is simply a problem player, I can't believe teams even recruited her. What fools!

I bet you use to poke remarks equally as low at the other nursery school kids when your kids attended nursery school. Still feel like you have the right to judge people, I guess.

Wow, this is a tough week to be a Klineman! 'Proudad' was baggin' on Alix's brother on the Men's chat area. This is at the same time the Santa Barbara local paper named him Player of the Week. Go figure.

An interesting fact of life is that we love to build heros then later tear them down. You see it everyday in life, even here on VT.

Rose, I believe Keystone was being sarcastic...if you read his previous posts on this thread he prasises Klineman and thinks she is phenomenal.

You are right. this is what KeystoneKid wrote previously:
"I've seen Alix on many occasions and coached against her as well. She is the best skilled "big" player I have ever seen at this stage in her career. Along with Barboza, Paula Weishoff, Logan Tom, clearly the most advanced players we have had in this country as prep players. There have been 6'3 or so players who have been dominant net forces, but Klineman is refined in every skill in the game, and her volleyball IQ is remarkable for anyone, let alone someone who also brings the physical tools as well. One of the things that makes her so dominant at this level is she is creating angles offensively that players just don't ever see. At the next level that is somewhat diminished as defenders are more used to seeing shots like that from bigger players. The only thing she has to do to be dominant at the next level is bring more heat. I am sure with weight training, she will do that. I certainly see her as an all-american next year, and a POY somewhere down the line. Seems to me a great kid. I know her coaches and have had players play with her in the USA programs, never once heard anyone say a single negative thing about her attitude. Great kid great teammate. Money, with all due respect, I will take the word of her coaches and teammates "

I, for one, am shocked that this thread was not started by Wolfgang.
However, I am not at all shocked that he hasn't contributed very many posts to it. He tends to disregard other people's threads because of their lack of summaries and poll options.
I also am not shocked that this thread has gone on for four pages. Mainly because Wolfgang hasn't contributed very many posts to it. That guy sure is a thread killer!

Okay.
Try the free food samples, especially the Asian Delight shrimp dumplings and Campbell's clam chowder soup.

I would have been offended by Roses post had it made any sense at all.

There is something vaguely unsettling in the words "shrimp dumplings"....maybe it's just the way you type.....creepy.
