Anyone heard anything about UM's recruiting for this year?
Admittedly, UM doesn't have the volleyball tradition of a number of other schools, but I can't find even a peep anywhere.

I know nothing of Michigan.
Any player live in South Quad? If so, which house? Is the Taylor-Gomberg tug-o-war still going on? These are random questions. I don't know if they're even remotely related to Michigan.

For 2007, Rich.Kern.com lists:

Wolfgang, this is a program whose booster club link on the mgoblue (official) website hasn't been updated since 2004! It's lonely out in space.

Thanks, HuskerVBfan.
By the way, as a Canadian, may I just say: You're welcome, for Sarah Pavan.

Well - John Tawa at PrepVolleyball.com considers 2007 Michigan signee Lexi Zimmerman a top 20 national recruit. A couple of other 2007 Michigan recruits are lower down on his list. You'll need to be a PrepVB subscriber to read this: www.prepvolleyball.com/content/view/1218/153/

I've heard many good things about Lexi.

By what I heard about Lexi, she is THE One they are planning to build the team around. She should shore up the setting, not that Stascia did a horrible job but Lexi is supposed to be quite a signing for Michigan.

Plus, Selsky is (will be, that is) a senior anyway.

Hmm, that link didn't take, but it pointed out that, "a passionate vocalist", Zimmerman sang the national anthem at every one of her high school's home games.
So UM's got that going for them.

Will Zimmerman set for the Wolverines this season? I haven't seen Zimmerman play, but if she is as good as advertised, then maybe Stesha Selsky will move back to libero. Selsky did a great job as libero in 2005 and was a great setter in 2006, but last season Michigan's libero position was probably one of their weaker roles.

Thanks, HuskerVBfan. By the way, as a Canadian, may I just say: You're welcome, for Sarah Pavan. Thank you! Thank you very much. And now I see that Michigan will get to battle Becky Pavan at least twice a year for four years.
