Amazing that they would get Florida to cut across multiple time zones right before the tournament. My faith in BG has been restored from 3 years ago (2004) when the Beach had mostly a cream puff pre-season, played mostly teams ranked in the high 100's & 200's and had a 9-0 record during that time. People were saying he was dodging the tough ones then.

KInd of makes Mick Haley's pre-season schedule look a little anemic but guess which team will make deeper inroads come post-season? ;D

Yeah, what a great schedule!
Let's see, there is Fairfield, Virginia Tech, St. John's, Denver, Washington St., Cal. State Bakersfield (aren't they Div. II?), Temple, Yale and Pitt. Not to mention all the cream puffs in the Big West. Can't wait to miss most of these matches.

Easy there Mrs. Daley.....errr I mean gobruins. I just posted that the Beach's schedule for next season was out!!! Even you have to admit that they have a very attractive and tough OOC home schedule. Teams like Stanford (next season's national champs, relax Nebraska fans, this is just my opinion)......Florida (another top 5 and final four candidate)......& a very, very good Washington team (yet another top 10 school) even without their AA setter from last year. But of course you neglected to mention this in your childish post in an attempt to put down the Beach. And yes, I too acknowledge that the schedule includes some teams not considered top 25 caliber, or as you put it "cream puff" teams, nevertheless it's still a very nice schedule. So relax and take a chill pill babe, or in your case a couple of midol pills. ;D

It's a pretty good schedule. The only thing that doesn't make any sense is the St. John's tournament. I really don't see a good reason to fly out that far for a bunch of no name teams. But I suppose before they face Washington, it would be a good "confidence builder" tournament to go to. But you would think they would find a tournament that is just as easy without flying that far. Can't do much about the competition in the Big West, but UCSB is always competitive and Cal Poly should be pretty strong again. But Stanford, Washington, and Florida are great teams to challenge the Beach.

I do "understand" that you have finally learned(or should I say been told) to stay out of Ali'sbusiness!! Anyway, Andy would never, ever, spend as much time holding your hand as Brian did.....I imagine that you learned that fact very quickly!

They certainly have lined up some big name opponents there. Will they be able to beat any of those teams at home? From the one match I saw of theirs last year, they looked pretty strong in the middle, but I wasn't sold on their outsides. If they want to reestablish themselves as a power, this looks like a schedule that could help them do it. Now, they just have to beat some people.

Playing Stanford, Washington and Florida is nice, but top-to-bottom, this non-conference schedule is NOT as strong as USC's. (and, lord knows, there is nothing I like more than bashing USC). And, once again, I am not Ali Daley's, or anyone else's, Mom. BTW, you might want to refrain from the blatantly sexist comments like "a couple of midol" or calling someone "Babe". Beachman will have to explain the "multi-million dollar baseball contract" comment. Since I am not related to Ali Daley, I have no idea what he is talking about. BTW, Beachman is well aware that I am not related to Ali Daley after the numerous PM's he has sent me.
