I submitted a question to the live chat, but it is like watching paint dry to see if I am answered! Most of the answers are "that will be announced in a couple of weeks"...

Mark Silverman - Big Ten Network President's Response: we will have 35+ HD football games, well over 100 HD basketball games, not to mention olympic sports and women's sports.
Not to mention?
ARGH! I just want to scream.

Well, none of my questions were answered. At least Susie got a volleyball question in ...
Question: When is your women's volleyball schedule going to be announced? How many matches will be shown? Posted By: Susie from Pittsburgh, PA 5/24/2007 12:30:45 PM
Mark Silverman - Big Ten Network President's Response: we anticipate televising approximately 20-30 women's volleyball matches, most of which in HD.

Bah. There will be a hundred basketball games, but 20 - 30 volleyball? And how many will be live (there is no reason they couldn't show every Wednesday and one Friday match live) 20 - 30 matches means about 2 per week. They should at least be able to do Wed, Fri, and Sat, with Wed and Fri live. Yet, for some reason, I'm predicting volleyball will be a rerun either late at night or some other time when no one can watch.

That was one of my questions - will volleyball be live, tape delayed, or both?
I prefer it would be live, so I can listen to the radio while I watch on TV! That was another of my questions - are they going to use local announcers for the games? I would not care if it was tape delay, if the commentators knew how to pronounce the players' names!
I agree snickers - more than we have now, which is good news! Call your Cable company. Press 0 when you go deep enough into the menu that none of it matches what you want to say, and you will get an operator. My operator didn't have a clue, but put me on hold, and came back and said the cable company is considering adding the channel, but it is expensive, so they would need a lot of people to call in and ask for it for it to be added to the lineup. So CALL! And keep asking questions until you get to a person who knows what you are asking!

Whenever I've called to speak to a live person, SHE never knows what's going on. Seriously. Don't mess with customer service. They are useless.

I asked for an e-mail address, but they said they don't have e-mail.
I was going to followup with a written postcard, myself!
(My operator was a HE and HE was CLUELESS!)

E-mail's pretty cutting-edge, after all. Don't you need to hook up a wire to the Webbynet to get that?

Your cable provider has no email address?!?!? You're screwed. ;D I did not mean to emphasize the "SHE"... I type for crap and always hit my caps loCK <-- see? lol Anyhoo, customer service is USELESS (caps purposed there!); they're always baited for complaints or problems, so when someone calls to voice an option, in one ear, out the other....
