Please feel free to add to the thread. I'll start off with this classic line by bomber.... The question of who will win the conference and if Penn State will run the table is fine, but I'm most interested in which teams have the capability to make it deep in the tourney. Wisconsin (I say that only because of their regional host), .......... Only because of their regional hosting??? How about the fact that the core of this team, now seniors, has made it to two Elite Eights and one Sweet Sixteen in the last three years without the benefit of a regional hosting There is only a very small handful of teams in the nation that can say that. *NOTE* Wisconsin-Green Bay hosted the 2004 regional held in Green Bay but for all intent and purposes, The Badgers were the hosts, they were playing in their home state, and were the overwhelming crowd favorites so to imply otherwise is just plain low.

I kinda like this one, from the "LBSU spanks USC" thread a couple years ago: Well, it was kinda a spanking, but.... 1. It was consensual. and.... 2. USC kinda liked it. ;D

This was posted a few days before the SARAH PAVAN AND JORDAN LARSON WIN POWERADE COLLEGIATE BEACH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS ;D I agree. That will really be embarrassing when Nebraskans win a beach tournament. Hmmmm, it just occurred to me that there is no Hawaii team in this beach tournament. Wonder why? ;D No Hawai'i team in a "beach tournament" seems almost as ridiculous as Nebraskans winning a beach tournament.

Some classic discussions were actually held offline, e.g., via the IM feature. You know what I'm saying?

The Florida fans vs. Hawaii fans "discussion" from 2002 was classic. I think, if I recall correctly, lots of names were called.

I didn't even participate in that thread. I just sat back with my popcorn and watched the drama unfold.

BIK's petty sniveling vitriolic posts re. Wisconsin Badgers circa 2004. Classic. The dude should've won an Oscar for his portrayal of a petty sniveling crybaby.
His pro-Bush arguments on the Off-the-Net forum were classic, too. We all felt badly for him.

Well I enjoyed the catfight between you (Wolfgang) and Tawa a couple of years back.

That was nothing. Barely a blip on the radar under ANY category. It was inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. No one remembers. I personally don't remember much about it.

The Vakasausau vs. Carey debates? Or was that on the old board. Sadly, I can't remember what the old board was called anymore, or what it looked like.
