Look, I'm not a Lewis fan but their players are legal! The rest of the MIVA teams were out coached by Dave, give it a rest.

You can't take Idaho out of the Boy or the Boy out of Idaho... ok, well, you can take the IdahoBoy OUT of Idaho, but only physically and only to a cool place (or warm place?) like Hawaii. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I'm confused.

I would like to congradulate the flyers on defending their title this year, and winning the MIVA from a 5 seed having beat 3 ranked teams to do so.
However I was mildly suprised at a couple post-match happenings. I was sitting at the scorers table and watched as Lewis celebrated their thrilling victory, and was bothered with some innapropriate hand gestures thrown in the direction of the ball state team. (I wont throw out any names)
This was followed by me unmistakingly hearing Martins repeating the word Losers as he went threw the line shaking hands.
I was also very suprised to see Meyer and Martins walk to the table and claim the trophy for MIVA champions.
I disagree with the hand gestures, the bad mouthing, and the two ineligible players receiving the title. I AGREE with the unbelieveable match I sww, the effort by both teams, and Fabiano Baretto and Kieth Schunzel hugging after the match, that was classy.
Congrats to both teams for having much to be proud of.
GO WARRIORS! WARRIORS IN 05!!!

And as far as the legality of the Lewis Players, I think this team that won this year should be very proud because they are all true collegiate athletes. And they said it couldn't be done with this group without the two others, so if I were a Lewis player this year I would take pride in proving everyone wrong.

VILI,
I am going to watch the tape to see what they were doing after the game. As far as they receiving the trophy...well, I"m sure that is up to the team as a whole. Those 2 guys have been through so much, more than anyone will most likely ever know and for the record, nothing has still been said whether they are ineligible or not. JR status as "having the flu" while being investigated and Gustavo was asked to sit out until everything has been gone through. If you've read through other post, you'll see what the big deal is about it. After a while it was easier to take their names off the roster instead of fielding the hundreds of questions about them.
Anyway, I'm glad they won, they had a tough fight this year and have had to over come a lot of obstacles. Dave has proven this year that he is worthy of the "Coach of the Year" that he received last year. He is a great coach and pulling this year through the way he did, he proved it.
Go Flyers!
I hope they give BYU a run for their money....
