great game, pretty tightly played. SDSU had 18.5 blocks, and aime cordiero had 23 digs, following her 44 and 46 dig matches. It's safe to say she's the best libero in the conference, but might even be one of top liberos in the country. Utah went to a 6-2 late in the match, but it still didn't work past the block. SDSU's defense and serving were really the difference makers in the match.
SDSU had 9 aces to 4 errors, but Utah only had 2 aces to 10 errors, way too big a difference and Utah's passing just wasn't up to par.
Haynie for Utah was impressive, 22 kills on 38 attempts, 8 errors. SDSUs leader had 19 kills 12 errors on 58 attempts, more than double the amount of swings than anyone else on the team and 14 more than Lori Baird (41 attempts).
This is going to be a very interesting year for the MWC, BYU lost to UNLV and New Mexico has been very impressiv this season.
