Is it a possibility that Oregon may just be a good team? Why does something have to have happened to OSU?

It is possible that Oregon is a good team, but so is USC. Thus, it stands to reason that the Buckeyes must not have played at the same level to go from 16-14 in the fifth against the Women of Troy to getting blown out by the Ducks in one day.

You could see it coming because 1) Oregon had been beaten badly by Purdue and 2) OSU had to have put a huge effort into their 5-game loss to USC. In short, Oregon's too good to not bounce back and OSU obviously played one of their better matches against USC.
Heck, look what happened to Purdue against USC.

I think it was a case of the two Big Ten teams waking up the two Pac 10 teams so they could lay in to the other Big Ten teams. (If that makes any sense) Unfortunately for OSU, their wake-up call was in the form of a loss, plotting them 0-2 on their own floor.

The match against USC had to have taken alot of OSU. Oregon isn't that dominant

Is it a possibility that Oregon may just be a good team? Why does something have to have happened to OSU? Some of us were wondering what happened to Oregon against Purdue. I think (R)uffda! was on track. For whatever reason the Pac-10 teams both had better matches Saturday than Friday, where for the Big-10 teams it may have been the reverse.

Nobody said Oregon was dominat but they are a very good team and IMHO do deserve a ranking. After watching the match vs. Purdue, that was not the team I have been seeing. Now some of it may have to do with Purdue but I really expected Purdue to be better. Oregon is a very young team.
