7-4 going into the Big Ten with Sam Gray coming back from concussions and a Freshman setter trying to learn the setting trade on the job....What lineup goes into Minnesota to start the Big Ten campaign? Coach keeps talking about an experienced team this year but keeps putting three freshman on the court...Not saying that's all bad at times but Liz sitting not a good thing either. Would love to see the libero jersey on Kelli this weekend....wishful thinking though as Coach doesn't seem ready to give up the dream yet.

What dream would that be?

it would be really nice to see miller in the libero jersey but the back row is still sketchy.

What dream would that be? The dream of Miller playing leftside. I think after Mastandrea graduates, Miller becomes Libero full time.

Wait, whose dream is it? If Purdue is going to compete with the big dogs, it will be necessary to use the right combination. Shondell seems to be a pretty smart guy. Don't understand that attraction of playing the nonproductive players at important positions. Mastandrea is one of the solid contributors...so why change her? Hate to say it, but maybe he needs to do what is best for the team and use Miller as a DS in big matches and just let her hit against the weaker teams...if that is the dream.

I didn't know that Miller hitting left side was a dream. Just an occasional necessity. They just need to find a consistent line-up and stick with it and grow with it. A lot of potential there.

I'm sure it's Miller's dream. Shondell wants just wants her on the floor as much as possible. Don't know who would hit leftside anyway. Pierce isn't back 100%.

I hope the injuries are all better by Big Ten play. It was wonderful that Sam got to play, Saturday. 2 concussions - yikes. That is just scary.
When you have 1/3 of the team not at 100%, that would put a crimp in the works for any coach. If Coach Shondell has a dream, it is probably more along the lines of having everyone healthy!
I am also hoping Liz gets to play, BoilerMan, but I think Annie is doing great at Libero. I think she has earned the position, as a Senior, and getting the position has inspired her to throw herself into being the best she can be. Kelli hits out of the back row - you can't do that as Libero.
