Looks like Hartmanns' setting efficiency (.347) was a bit better than Fister (.237) despite the close games and overall dismal Hawkeye team hitting percentage. Both are great setters to watch.

And teammates in JOs, right?
You're assuming total attacks - assists by other players = a setter's total attempts?
That's only going to be close.

Actually, I'm surprised at the number of attempts by Minnesota. Is Iowa's DS/Libero tandem that good, or were the Gophers just not hitting the ball very hard?

Can anyone explain to me how to interpret setter stats such as Assists per game versus Setting efficiency mentioned above ? Seems like setting efficiency is a more important stat but everyone always reports A/g.
