Bruins in 3....game scores were 30-26, 31-29 30-23 (I believe...this is from memory)
First time all year I've seen Scates play the same 7 guys the whole match (Garret, Acosta, McKinney, Pena, Morrow, Shrader and Nelson). UCLA didn't block a ball until midway through the 2nd game and then the gates opened - 4 straight blocks and they kept it up through the rest of the match. UCSB had Kolwolski setting for the first 2 games but pulled him in the 3rd when UCLA took a big lead. He's got a wicked jump serve.
Interestingly, Scates had David Russell suit up though he didn't get in. I thought he was going to redshirt this year.
