"A research team at UC Berkeley will report that irregularities associated with electronic voting machines may have awarded 130,000 - 260,000 or more excess votes to President George W. Bush in Florida in the 2004 presidential election. Get over it losers! Your man lost!

You "conservatives" only want everyone to "get over" the election because you're afraid of what's going to be found when the election result irregularities get investigated. Non-presidential races have already been overturned in some states after ballot irregularities were investigated and the ballots were recounted.

Non-presidential races have already been overturned in some states after ballot irregularities were investigated and the ballots were recounted. Now you're grasping at straws Gorf. I didn't want to gloat when Bush won because I knew how important the election was to some of you, but now I find that hard to do. Your man lost, get over it. Kerry lost both the electoral college and the popular vote. The sooner you come to terms with this fact, the better off you'll be. And for the record, I'm an independent.

Again the theme of "get over it" when there is doubt being cast in numerous areas about voting irregularities.
You'd think all those people that voted for GWB because of his (and their own) "moral values" would want to know the truth about the causes of the extreme number of voting "glitches" being reported across the country rather than sticking their collective heads in the sand and warbling "get over it".

Get over it Gorf, give it a rest. The truth is the American people elected President Bush to a second term. Recount after recount will not change this fact. Your man lost. Get a grip!

There you go hiding behind the "get over it" again, afraid to see what might actually be happening.

How can you possibly not wonder about the decisions that lead to situations such as precincts in predominantly black areas of Ohio being given fewer voting machines in this years election than in previous elections when their registered number of voters were at least as high (or increased) as for those previous years AND voting turnouts around the country had been expected to be at their highest levels well before the day of the election?
People in those precincts had to wait in line for 10-12 hours in order to vote. With thousands reportedly giving up and leaving before voting.
Is it simply coincidence that each of those areas had voted largely for Democratic candidates in the previous elections?

Come to terms with Bush's victory.

People that had run some of the polling sites / precints have reported those situations (I believe under oath).
It would be nice to hear the people that made those types of decisions report (again under oath) why the decisions were made.

Where would people be testifying under oath about this? There's no court case, no congressonal inquiry, at this point.

I'm sure you know of every court case in the country. A congressional inquiry would only happen if congress were to get involved in a local state election issue. " Ohio Voter Suppression Hearing Franklin County Court House 373 S. High St. Columbus meeting room A 11/15/04 6:00pm-10:00pm" Apparently you were unable to attend. " All testifiers were sworn in en masse at the beginning. A court stenographer recorded all testimony." I think that might just qualify as being "under oath".
