A lie from some leftwing dumbya hater? No, a quote from one of dumbya's friends, a Saudi Prince. So dumbya has not only killed about 100,000 Iqaris. he has made their country a meeting place for terrorists. Way to go dumbya, making more terrorists, one bomb at a time.
Saudi Ambassador Says More Troops Needed in Iraq Oct 28, 7:06 PM (ET)
By Barry Moody and Jeremy Lovell
LONDON (Reuters) - Iraq has become a magnet for foreign terrorists since the U.S.-led invasion last year and there are not enough troops to cope, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Britain said on Thursday.
Prince Turki al-Faisal, a former Saudi spy master, said a fragmentation of Iraq would pose a major threat to world peace.
The invasion in March 2003 and subsequent disbanding of the Iraqi security services had opened up a void into which militants were flooding, he told Reuters in an interview.
"Iraq is a magnet for terrorists. The invasion has definitely not met the expectations of President Bush that it would be an end to terrorism in our part of the world," said Prince Turki.
"There are just not enough security forces on the ground to meet the needs of the situation," he said.
"Centrifugal forces have increased in Iraq. Fragmentation would be detrimental not just to Saudi Arabia but first of all to the Iraqi people, secondly to all of the neighboring countries and thirdly to the world community."

I believe this was the strategy for SOME in this Admin from the start: fight them there so they wouldn't have to fight them here.
Shame.
And shame on America if we re-elect this war criminal.

(R) - I've been off the board for a number of months - how the heck are you? Are you saying that you would prefer the US fight the terrorists on US soil? Because it wouldn't be "they" fighting them here - it would be "we".

Because it wouldn't be "they" fighting them here - it would be "we". Funny. I just said how the heck are you to you in the other thread. I don't want to fight them anywhere. But, of course, we must. I just find it a TAD immoral to use another country as a battleground as part of a strategy to keep them out of the U.S. It won't work either. I REALLY think we should have thrown more at them in Afghanistan, but that's just me. Iraq was a mistake. That much I do know.

I don't think you can prove that we have created many new ones in Iraq - I think we are killing many new ones.
Mistake or not we are there now and have to deal with it. Leaving without a new government in place would be an even bigger mistake.

But Bush should not be absolved for getting us into this mess. And he is not the man to deal with the mess now.

The administration's goal from day 1 is no fighting here. WE will take it to foreign soil. Bush or Kerry; we are in dark place with no visible light at the of the tunnel.

Neither is Kerry. [/quote]
You suspect that Kerry isn't the right man, however, Bush has made it very clear over the past 3+ years that he is definitely not the right man.
