Buried about halfway through this article www.dailypress.com/news/local/virginia/dp-va--bushvisit0809aug09,0,6920595.story?coll=dp-headlines-virginia Bush also said high taxes on the rich are a failed strategy because "the really rich people figure out how to dodge taxes anyway." Yet another indication that Bush is hopelessly out of touch with the needs of most Americans. With the dismal jobs report, the Bush campaign is definitely in trouble. I would go so far to say that Bush is no the favorite in this race. I now think that barring some sort of major screwup Kerry will win this election. Remember Kerry is a much better candidate than Gore, and has run a very good campaign so far.

KerryCong IS NOT a better candidate than Gore. 3 months from the election and most voters still don't know who he is or what he has to offer.
KerryCong will get votes from people voting AGAINST Bush. Very few voters are voting FOR KerryCong.

What does that tell you about GWB in that case BiK?
If over 50% of the polled voters wantt to vote for a condidate that you theorize they don't know anything about rather than vote for retaining the incumbent president it would seem to be an indication that said incumbent has been pretty much a solid failure as president.
I wonder if the Kerry supporters will use GWB's "the really rich people figured out how to dodge taxes anyway" quote as a sound byte in on of their TV / radio ads.
