BiK has plenty of good points. He's the object of my affections, after all. Hey I have enough admirers. The team is full (R)uffda!, the team is full! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I did and I will. Get used to it. Hehe. Very original, Lame-oh. Except where have we heard that again? Oh, yeah. It was said to you. And I certainly struck a nerve since after all this time you're still dwelling on it. So sad. Any other of my putdowns that you would again like to parrot since, well, you're lame and can't come up with an original, not to mention logical, thought? Come on, you can do it. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I was considering engaging in a battle with you Islandgirl, just to prove you're out of your league but alas....... I cannot enter in a battle of the wits with you - it's really against my morals to attack an unarmed person. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Hey, now, there's no need to sling mud at each other. Best to channel your energy toward one target: I'mDonHoBoy.
So let's all give it a go!

When the Shah was overthrown by the Iranian revolutionaries in the early 1980s, (taking with them Jimmy Carter's presidency as collateral damage!) the Shah moved to New York where he stayed at a hospital to recover from cancer or something-or-other. The Iranians wanted the US to extradite the Shah back to Iran so that he could be tried for his crimes, convicted, and then ultimately executed. The US denied them the pleasure. So, the Iranians took some US citizens at the Embassy hostage. We all remember that, right?
Nothing like that is happening here even though some of Saddam Hussein's biggest critics and enemies are more zealous than the Iranian revolutionaries ever were! None of the Iraqis (as far as I know, unless I missed some news report) are asking for Hussein's return to answer for his crimes against his people. But then again, there were no Iraqi revolutionaries; the US just stormed in and bombed the hell out of Baghdad.

I will never folly, I will never surrender, I will never negotiate with any member of the RGI ( (R)uffda!, Gorf, Islandgirl ) regime. I will fight them by land, I will fight them by sea, I will fight them in the air, untill with truth, honor, and justice by my side... I rid the Volleytalk board of their evil shadows! "You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police. Yet in their hearts there is unspoken - unspeakable! - fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts! Words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home, all the more powerful because forbidden. These terrify them. A little mouse - a little tiny mouse! - of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic."

"You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police..." If you'll give me a moment, I need to borrow (R)uffda's dictionary to look up the word "truncheon." I'm thinking, based on the context and the time of day here in the Bay Area, that it has something to do with "luncheon." I'm hungry.

Quit yapping at my heels like a little pink poodle with a perm. Buddy, poodles don't get perms. People with bad perms are said to look like poodles. I know, I know, you've heard "perms" and "poodles" in the same sentence before, hence your confusion (again) but, geez, get a clue!
