After further review, I think LWood may be right: Gorf IS an obsequious moron. Hebephrenically speaking and being of unsound minds and body I can whole heartedly say that we have taken a vote resulting in a marginal quorum in determining that some of our voices may represent moronic behavior but we find that we are more aligned with feelings of antipathy than obsequiosity toward certain entities currently retaining offices in "high" standing within our country.

I know you were talking to Gorf, but since we're the same person anyhow -- ;D --
I am voting for Kerry because I am confident he will be surrounded by better leaders than Bush is. I could live with a dolt in office if he had wise men/women around him.
On the other hand, I don't think Kerry is without ANY strong points. It's not like I think I'm voting for an empty suit. I just would have preferred someone else from the Democratic party.
But, above all else, Bush has to go.

But I like to think of myself more on the lines of being oblanceolate. I recommend diet and excercise to reduce your broad middle.

I recommend diet and excercise to reduce your broad middle. I'm trying, LWood. Believe me, I'm trying. But what to do with the huge head? I guess I have to have SOME place to store all these brains. ;D

The party has lost its way and has been hijacked by extreme leftist and too many special interest groups. Right now there is not a strong message or platform coming out of the DNC or Kerry other than Bush must go. It works for the base, but it won't motivate the moderates and swing voters. Kerry is in trouble in my mind. He has been seriously considering John McCain as his running mate. To me that speaks volume about how desperate the Democratic party is to win. Desparation leads to humiliation. Kerry won't win a single Southern state.

It is your (that is a collective your) antipathy of Bush that is resulting in your obsequious following of Kerry. Actually, I've said relatively little in favor of Kerry. If you'd botther reading you'd know that. The majority of what I've said about Kerry has been more in pointing out that the most of the things that you and others level at Kerry as negatives are also being done by GWB and his stumpers. You're one of the many persisting in being obsequois in following the Bushy Brigade.

Isn't equally hard (or perhaps even harder) to be a republican when you have a "leader" like Bush that continues to ignore reality and even those in his own party speak out against his antics of late? His "new" 5 point plan sounded more like the same old thing he's been lamely saying for quite some time. He's obviously trying to one-up Kerry in the spewing of a lot of words without saying anything department.

So your implication was otherwise than collective.

My original post was about a collective group. You have decided to insert yourself in that group and then engage me. Don't start acting hurt.

Reality: We were attacked on 9/11/01 and have not been hit again on U.S. soil since. Reality: Saddam is gone. Reality: Control of the government in Iraq will be handed over on June 30, 2004. Reality: The U.S. will succeed in Iraq without the real support of the Democratic party. Reality: GW will not hand over U.S. sovereignty to an international governing body, like Kerry wants. Reality: GW's approval number of late suck, because of Abu Ghraib. But his Election poll numbers still have him winning in Novemer. Now that's reality my friend. BTW, I prefer Gorf over Sangfroid et Roi. Gorf has more guts.

Reality: The economy is recovering and growing. And only CEOs are benefitting. Job growth and, more importantly, compensation, continues to lag. And that's all that matters, right? Replaced by ?? Although we have no idea to whom it is being "handed over." And the U.S. will still be running things. We shall see. It looks pretty bleak for any U.S. "success." And that is GW's biggest mistake. Not just Abu Ghraib. The entire Iraq enterprise is bringing him down. And the Economy still sucks. Now why would you go and say something like that? ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)
