This show is so dumb. You are right about that. I can't stop watching for some reason. It's like a train wreck. At least now, I just record it and fast forward through all the crap and commercials. Can't miss the Gilmore Girls |

If you fast forward through all of the commercials there's about 9 minutes of actual show.

If you fast forward through all of the commercials there's about 9 minutes of actual show. When you think about it the contestants only sing for 2 minutes max, then they have the judges talk for about 3-4. Sometimes I want to fast forward the commercials but realize that it's not a tape. |

I don't understand how these folks keep being so surprised by who is voted off. Haven't they got it by now? The motivation to vote for someone is when someone has performed badly and is in danger. There is no extra motivation to vote for someone who has done well.
Vonzell = looked great, but again sang a song that was all sparkle and no substance. I still don't know if she can sing.
Carrie = couldn't even hear her. Like Vonzell, looks great. Unlike Vonzell, I've actually heard her hit some recognizable notes.
Bo = was very good.
Anthony = Celine Dion? It's bad enough that the women are singing that crap -- or Aguilera's.
Constantine = I _liked_ his performance. I liked his performance last week, too. He's putting his own twist on songs. I didn't understand the criticism.
Scooter = just gawdawful.
Paula = the s***'s about to hit the fan. Just as she's mourning the departure of ....

I really think that it's time for Savol to leave, but after Simon's harsh words he'll probably get some sympathy votes and end up in the bottom two.

Does anyone else get the impression that Paula may have been "boinking" Constantine? I mean, why they heck was she bawling and hugging his mother like it was a gol durn death in the family? He was a Hunk and all, but he can't sing worth a lick and Paula knows it!

I agree. Something must've been going on. Her being hysterical just showed she was playing favorites. I mean it was hard enough that Simon has the hots for Carrie. Constantine couldn't sing. Has the eyes of a psycho killer and is better off in theater, where his ham-acting would be appreciated by washed-out matrons like Paula.

If it wasn't happening before, it will probably start now. I told my wife last night, if I were Constantine, the first thing I'd do now that I'm off the show is ask Paula for a date.

My Dad said that he appears to look like Dracula, especially when he was singing "My Funny Valentine" and in the middle of the song he made really weird eyes at the camera. |
