Has anyone ever been to Forest of Nisene Marks State Park? www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=666A friend is taking me biking/hiking/camping there this Spring. I was wondering if there any volleyball facilities in the area. There aren't wild dogs there are there? I hate wild things.

I wouldn't worry about the wild dogs, they've been all but wiped out by the mountain lions.

I don't remember any volleyball, but I do remember a banana slug the size of hot dog. It's a really pretty area. Capitola, Aptos and Santa Cruz are among my favorite vacation spots. BonJoe is right. There may be mountain lions, but just don't run on trails by yourself in the evening and they should leave you alone.

For some reason when I read the title of this thread I was thinking more along the lines of "Dances With Wolves".
