decide to read " spy, spy again" by mercedes lackey. i very much like her stuff.
i had to check this out as an ebook since the library has no physical copies and isn't planning to buy physical copies of new books until further notice. checking out an ebook is not as easy as it would seem

So, what have I recently read?
I read a couple Joe Simpson books. One I know I had read before, Dark Shadows Falling, and one I'm not sure if I've read before, The Beckoning Silence. Joe is most famous for his book Touching The Void. Particularly in his later books he explores ideas like why people go out climbing, or in the case of The Beckoning Silence, why they sometimes decide to stop.
I'm also rereading a classic that I haven't read for probably almost 40 years: Three Hearts And Three Lions.
And I've started reading The Baron Of Magister Valley, which is a reworking of the story of The Count Of Monte Cristo.

as i switch back to fiction, going to read a 2 book series by n.k. jemisin that starts with ' the killing moon'.
at the same time, i have found myself in another reading lull and i am having a tough time feeling motivated to continue.

finished this yesterday. super fast read. about 200 total pages and the book itself is rather smaller than most books
i am going to read " sword of kings" by bernard cornwell next. it's the penultimate book in his saxon tales series. i'm checking it out from the austin public library. while i wait for that to be ready, i'll dip back into a collection of short stories i have that are all about zombies.
