Way to go CSUN. Nice to win a match and break a losing streak against Hawai'i. Good luck in tonight's match. You'll need it because I know them Hawaiians* do not want to lose two in a row to us.
For any HI fans - out of curiosity, what CSUN player impressed you the most? I happen to enjoy watching #3, Joe Nargi and #11 Ty Tramblie. In my opinion Ty is a better setter than the one they had from 1998-2001.
*for all you hyper PC people in here - lighten up...I'm not being derogatory or sarcastic

Overall the thing that impressed me about Northridge was their ability to run a steady offense. None of their kills was really spectacular, but they did what they needed to do. Dig, set, kill. That is all any team needs to do, right? Plus they did a great job of playing within themselves, not trying for an outrageous shot, but letting the rally take them to a situation where they had a chance.

Thanks for the feedback NotRichee. Always interesting and nice to know what people think of CSUN. You do have a good point - it's real basic, you need a good pass, good set from a setter that knows his hitter, where to set the ball and the hitter has to just hit through the block, off the block or if there is no block then that is when he can really crank it. If teams keep it simple they'll win games. Overall the thing that impressed me about Northridge was their ability to run a steady offense.
