Not until this year has Northridge and Irvine were given the luxury of having their Mens program fully funded with 4.5 scholarships. With 1.5 additional scholarships you can recruit up to 4 - 6 quality players. These two teams have struggled in the MPSF in the past, but now are having banner seasons. Imagine what 8 - 10 scholarship could do for Mens Volleyball. I'm a parent who benefited from Title IX, with a daugther on a full volleyball scholarship. But wouldn't be nice to see the Mens volleyball, alloted additional scholarships. Kudos to Coach Campbell and Sperew for doing an outstanding job so far, even though they are both ex-UCLA players (joke). Bookumdanoaloha.
