Seems like many are still confused about times and coverage well follow my simple solution . 1) Find a schedule with China starting times which I did. volleyball.teamusa.org/news/article/23902) Factor in the time zone difference for you location. www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html3) Now check the TV Guide or just turn on the TV and check the channels broadcasting the Olympics.NBC,MSNBC,CNBC,USA etc.If it isn't there than I guess it's not being carried live where you live. USA vs Japan - Aug 9th all time zones. 10:00 pm China 4:00 am Hawai`i 7:00 am West Coast 8:00 am Mountain 9:00 am Central 10:00 am Eastern If you can't be near a TV maybe at work but you're on a computer well there are a couple of places for live streaming such as CBC and CCTV so check back here because I'm sure that someone will provide a link.

Did that too but the online nbc schedule has USA vs Japan showing at 10:30 am instead of 7 am West Coast time. I'll go back on the nbc website and double check it. Thanks for trying to make it simple.

Wrong again. It was East Coast time that was posted on the nbc website. They want you to put your zip code in before the schedule pops up so I assumed wrongly that the posted event time was per my time zone. Go figure. Now if I could just read what is right in front of me....

Yes this is something that was brought up in previous threads. It appears that there are areas of the country where it is time delayed or the word" Live" dosen't jive with the actual starting time. This is going to be a hit or miss situation for many of us depending on where we live and just surfing the different channels at match time will be our best bet.

I know. But if you look in the body of the text it says Live/ET. Even when you put in a West Coast zip code. Goofy.

Yep, found the same thing where I live. NBC has differently lied to us in many areas.I find the advertisement used by Odin in the very first thread nothing but a big joke.

What can I do ?
I just spent an hour on the phone with Comcast, trying to activate Telemundo, and they told me I didn't need to do that, I could watch the Olympics on 968 (or something like that). I tried that channel and it was the PLAYBOY CHANNEL!
No thanks!
So, finally the answer was - That tier cannot be activated (the 24 or so Spanish channel tier) because it is not yet available in your area.
I just want to cry. I just bought a HD Tivo so I could record the volleyball matches. (Ok, and we are supposed to get Big Ten Network August 15th, so for that , too.)
