Cool. Those ladies all share together what we hope for and probably never will have. When they are old they will still have Beijing with each other.

It's too bad the softball team couldn't win as well. That was probably the biggest upset of the Olympics.

Wasn't one of the reasons that softball was removed was because of the domination of the US Teams throughout the Olympics? Well, this kinda is egg on whoever decided this. Hope the sport is at least reinstated. Parity is a-coming!

Didn't these teams did this four years ago in Athens when the other teams urged our volleyball team to win? Actually they did and it was cool that they gave support back then and doing it again now. They just spreadin the love.

The soccer team and I think the softball team tried to patch up the differences in the volleyball in Sydney I think. Kind of embarrassing that it became public knowledge.

If the Int'l Olympic Committee is concerned about US domination in women's softball (before this year), what about men's basketball?

If the Int'l Olympic Committee is concerned about US domination in women's softball (before this year), what about men's basketball? Actually, the difference is that basketball is globally popular. That we dominate it is not because other countries don't try. The problem with softball is that very few countries care and try, so the domination is a result of its lack of global popularity. On top of that, softball is expensive, requiring its own large stadium and large rosters of players. Baseball's problem is that the best players in the world do not compete in the games. Of course, Soccer has the same problem. I'm not sure why there's that double-standard there unless it's because of a Eurocentric outlook.
