CJ will start as USC sorely needs big and talented players and CJ is both.
Having seen the UCSB match against Long Beach, Klineman will have a chance to contribute right away. UCSB definitely needs one setter to be the man.
Wade may have to redshirt. Doesn't UCLA have 3 or 4 setters returning (if you include Beau Peters)?
There will definitely be opportunities at Stanford, especially at setter. Michele Groppi from Italy is supposed to be the real deal, so he will get a chance as well Ekins and Jacobs. Haven't seen the two middles Shaw recruited, but both will probably get a chance to replace to Buell.

I think it's hardly fair to judge a recruiting class on how many fab 50 players a team may have signed. Some of the greatest players i've seen weren't selected, and i've seen some absolute jokes selected.

Doesn't everyone prett much? While at the games and looking at their handouts, almost everyone had the * stating they redshirted. I don't remember anyone who didn't except maybe klosterman.

Tony Ker did not redshirt. O'Malley will most likely, because he needs to bulk up for the college game and Scates doesn't need him to great right away.

I don't know why I never said anything but it hit me while I was watching the finals last night when I saw them on TV. Two of my friends signed with Pepperdine.
Todd Dildine - Fresno, CA, Central Cal VBC MB/OH Brett Hughes - Fresno, CA, Central Cal VBC S/(Converting to OH/OPP?)

I thought Todd moved to Fresno VBC?

Yeah that's what I remember. I guess he threatened to put in a bad word with the Pepp. coach after a prank we pulled at JO's.
