Any other motorsports fans around here?
What an interesting finish. Poor Massa, to have the championship in his hands at the finish line, and then to see it disappear while he's still on his cooldown lap.
But if not for the stupid decision by the stewards at Spa the championship would have already been over, so I think the right guy ended up as the winner.

What happened? So Hamilton won? How fishy is this? I can see Ecclestone doing something funny to reward the Golden One, although he is pretty racist.

Massa won the race. Hamilton needed to finish fifth or better. It started raining five laps before the finish, and everybody took rain tires except the Toyotas.
So Hamilton was in fifth place, with Vettel right behind him and Glock way ahead of him on dry tires.
Massa won the race, and Vettel passed Hamilton. Massa and his fans thought he had won the championship. But in the last corner of the last lap, while Massa was already doing his cooldown and thinking he had won, both Vettel and Hamilton passed Glock because he was too slow on the slick tires.
So Hamilton took fifth and snatched the championship back away from Massa.

Wow, heart breaking the other way around from last year. Ferrari is just killing themselves I bet.
Now we'll see how the silly season works out.
