Just looking for some feedback here on Jeff Taylor (AVCA: Jeff Taylor (Jr., OH, 6-3)). He's currently on tour in Europe with a bunch of guys looking for pro teams for after graduation and he has had some big time games. He's passing well, making big digs, getting kills against some good teams in France and Spain, and scoring points with his jump-serve on a nightly basis (7 matches in 9 days). How can it be that this kid isn't even on the roster at CSUN right now? Anyone have any insight to share? www.bringitusa.com/events/kniffs_tour/(Journal with photos, scores, and all updated info to be posted in 2-3 days, the tour ended today, 4/13)

He was on the team but had a sort of falling out with the coaches. There were just some differences in opinion I guess. He has MAD hops and can bounce the ball though. Good to hear he's doing awesome.

Good to hear he's doing awesome. I was wondering about Jeff Taylor. I was looking forward to seeing him play this season since I thought he had one more year to play. Enjoyed watching him play when he started and then noticed that he wasn't a starter. Last year's team played real well when Taylor and injured Dan Rhodes were on the floor together. Too bad things didn't work out...it happens and I hope he's enjoying playing in Europe.

I just don't get this "had a falling out with the coaches" thing. He's a great kid, works hard, and has all the skills. I haven't been paying such close attention to the MPSF in the last couple of years, but I have seen some games and Jeff would be starting on just about every team I've seen (based on what I've seen over here).

He is a great guy. I knew him for the duration of his season this year until he left and I thought he was awesome. It was his decision to leave the team as far as I know because he had a different opinion than the coaches.

Yeah Jeff can really get up and bang. But he's a little goofy looking. I guess it just adds to the character.
