MPSF Playoff picture clears up after a number of games on Saturday Night...
Pepperdine finishes #1 and gets the bye in the first round and the right to host the semis and finals
UCLA finishes #2 and will play the winner of the Stanford @ CSUN match (which will be Wed at CSUN since Stanford dropped lost to BYU in 4 games on Sat. Night).
BYU finishes #3 after sweeping Stanford over the weekend and winning the tiebreaker with Hawaii... BYU will host UC Santa Barbara...the teams split the season series but that was way back in January.
Hawaii will finish 4th (they are up 2-0 on Pacific) and will host Long Beach State. The teams split the season series defeating each other 3-0 on back to back nights.
Pepperdine and the 3 quarterfinal winner will play Thursday 28th in Malibu...
The teams are reseeded for the semis so Pepperdine will draw the lowest remaining seed of the quarterfinalists.

I posted this in a different thread, but it applies better here...
That will be an interesting week at Pepperdine with April 28th being the last day of finals and April 30th being graduation day... That could be distracting for Pepp's players.
If they make it to the finals, i can tell ya that sitting in the sun for two hours (as is Pepp's graduation) does wonders at sapping your strength for the rest of the day... Let's see how seniors Rooney, Mayer (opp), Ka (lib) and any other players attending do with that twist in their day.
