Then they will most definetely cement their reputation as big-time CHOKE ARTISTS.
The MPSF tourney is clearing the path for the Waves....UCLA getting taken out in their own place and losing any chance to make it to the Final Four makes things infinitely simpler and easier for the Waves to win it all.

Ok, UCLA is currently ranked #1 ... why don't they still have a chance at the at-large bid? Is it because they lost in the quarters instead of the semi's?

AVCA ranking is not one of the criteria for the at-large berth.

You ever see how the other coaches treat Scates when he comes into their gym? (put down the water...watch him walk on it!)
It will be UCLA no matter what.

Pepperdine is ranked # 1 this week all but one vote . with UCLA losing tonight it will be a very fat chance they make it to the final 4 . Just look at their last three games . Lost to LB State , taken to 5 games by UCSD , then beaten by CSUN , when they were ahead 14 - 10 in game 5

i don't know why pepperdine has an easy path to the finals because a red hot long beach state team who beat them down three weeks ago is still alive along with UCSB who has one of the best opposites in the nation, plus a Cal State northridge team, who apparently ate their wheaties this week. is on a roll. If anything Pepperdine will have to work their butts off to go into the final four in the #1 seed

Actually, if I were Marv, I would win the semis and lose the final. Just to spite Al.
But Marv wouldn't do that, he's too classy a guy. I, on the other hand, wouldn't think twice about doing it.

VB...you have been attending too many local high school games, maybe that is where you are witnessing this phenomenon.
