We just had an election a few weeks back -- I voted against every politician who supported Wall Street Socialism, and I have let them all know how I feel about Detroit Socialism. I was disappointed the Wall Street Socialism bill passed, but sometimes in a representative democracy your representatives go against you, so I can choke back the tears.
But explain to me how President Bush has the ability to just wake up one morning and decide to spend 17.4 billion of my country's rapidly shrinking wealth without congressional endorsement? I mean, I know he's one of the 10 worst Presidents in the history of this country in regards to respect for separation of powers, but I'm still shocked by each new obscenity. I haven't been keeping up with politics recently but I saw the headline this morning. If anyone has read enough about the executive order to know where the legal mandate comes from, I would be curious to hear it.

Don't you remember? We voted on this in 2004, when Bush was elected. How did your state vote? Mine voted for Kerry.
